Community Health

In order to cater preventive, promotive and curative health of the marginalized community, Rasta visits the community and organizes health camps where services like growth monitoring, testing for minor and major ailments, supply of vitamin tablets and medicines for minor ailments. Also providing nutritious food to children.Targeted Intervention Programme which was started in 2010, with the support of Government of Delhi, is an important component of Rasta’s Community Health intervention. Under this HIV/AIDS awareness programme, the tests have been conducted among 2,42,163 migrants (HRGs) and Rasta has identified 111 HIV reactive individuals from East Delhi and helped them to get treated from government hospitals.
