Women Empowerment

Under this programme, we work through multiple interventions to support women, girls, and their families. Through our Gender Resource Centre, more than 15,000 women have received guidance and support on health, education, legal awareness, adult literacy, and skill development. Women are trained in areas such as tailoring, computer skills, and driving, helping them become more confident and financially independent.
Since February 2019, over 1,000 women have been supported through the Mahila Panchayat Programme. The initiative helps women understand their legal rights, identify domestic violence, and confidently report incidents when they need support.
We are also implementing a dedicated project called “Empower Her,” supported by the Azim Premji Foundation. Through this project, we provide legal awareness to women and girls about their rights related to crime and domestic violence. In addition, we assist community members in preparing essential documents and accessing various government social security schemes. Together, these efforts aim to build safer, informed, and empowered communities where women and girls can live with dignity and independence.
