WHO WE ARE
Rasta
We are a Non-Government Organization, functioning since 1994 for empowerment of the vulnerable sections of society in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, and enjoying national jurisdiction. Our main areas of intervention are Education, Community Health, Women Empowerment and Skill Development. In 2019, we celebrated 25 years of our existence.
So far, we have educated 30,000, mainstreamed 8500 children also developed need based teaching learning material in Hindi, Math’s and English for class 3rd and 4th and imparted vocational skills to over 1200 youth out of whom good number placed on job. Five research studies have been carried out for National and International organizations.
We have imparted AIDS awareness to 1,75,000 migrants of high-risk behavior. Presently affecting lives of 25,000 people directly and 2 lakhs indirectly with the help of 125 professionally trained staff and our supporting partners like Individuals, Foundations, Corporate, Govt. and PSUs.

Also imparted vocational skills to over 1200 youth out of whom 40% are employed. Five research studies have been carried out for National and International organizations. We have imparted AIDS awareness to 1,50,000 migrants of high-risk behavior. Presently Rasta is affecting lives of 30,000 people directly and 2 lakhs indirectly with the help of 125 professionally trained staff and of our supporting partners consisting of Individuals, Foundations, Trusts, Corporates, Central and Delhi State Governments and PSUs.
